Merritt and the Nicola Valley
Merritt is a city in the Nicola Valley of the south-central Interior of British Columbia, Canada. Situated at the confluence of the Nicola and Coldwater rivers, it is the first major community encountered after travelling along Phase One of the Coquihalla Highway and acts as the gateway to all other major highways to the B.C. Interior.
The Intown Inn and Suites is located in the heart of Merritt off of Highway 5, right on Voght St., situated in the heart of Merritt, near shopping, restaurants, the hockey area and aquatic centre.
Getting to Merritt, British Columbia - Directions
Merritt is a three hour drive from Vancouver, 1 hour from Kelowna, and 45 minutes from Kamloops. There are airports in both Kamloops (YKA) and Kelowna (YLW) if you are looking to continue on your travels.
From Vancouver - Take exit 286 and keep right towards Merritt City Centre.
From Kelowna - Keep on the same highway, when you enter Merritt we're the first motel on the left hand side after about 3 km.
From Kamloops - Take exit 286 (last exit before toll booth) and follow the signs to Merritt.
